At this time, all our instructors have been with our school for at least three years, with the majority of them with us for 8 years or more. Any new instructors will be rigorously interviewed and subject to background a check.
May I speak with my instructor before I enroll?
Your instructor will contact you to confirm your lesson time. During that call, the instructor will discuss your goals and needs and will answer any questions you have. We are always available to speak with you regarding any questions or input you may have at (615) 371-8086.
What if I need to change a lesson time?
All lesson changes are made by the student and his/her instructor. See our Policies Page for more detailed information about make-up lessons.
What is your rescheduling policy?
All lesson changes are made by the student and his/ her instructor. See our Policies Page for more detailed information.
Do I need to have my own instrument to take a lesson?
We suggest that you have your own instrument as practice is very important for you to reach your goals of becoming musically accomplished. If you need guidance as to what type of instrument to buy, please contact us, as we have decades of experience purchasing musical instruments.
Do I need to practice?
Yes. Studies show that the main difference between students who become proficient at their instrument and those who don’t is the amount of practice time they put in.
How long until I see results?
You control your results. Practice is one of the main ingredients for success. Our teachers and staff are highly skilled musicians who care personally about their students and are passionate about teaching. But they can’t practice for you.
Do you have recitals?
Our students perform two recitals a year, one in the fall or early winter, and one in late spring. For information regarding current recital times, visit our Policies Page.
Recitals will also be on the Calendar Page and can be found in the appropriate months.
Theatre productions and summer camps provide other opportunities for performance and can be found on our Calendar Page.
