Centre Stage Productions
We offer a variety of opportunities for your child to get on the stage and in the spotlight.
Each class finishes with a professional showcase or fully-staged production! Everyone gets a part!
OUR MISSION: To encourage our kids in their confidence both on and off-stage, to provide a place where kids from all different walks of life find a common passion, and to let these kids have the time of their lives under the spotlights at "centre stage!"
OUR PROMISE: To put on age-appropriate shows that our performers and our audiences will enjoy.
WINTER 2020 Production:
MATILDA, JR.
Saturday, January 16th, & Sunday, January 17th
Performances: 2:30pm & 6:30pm daily
Performance venue TBA
Rebellion is nigh in Matilda Jr., a gleefully witty ode to the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination! This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the "revolting children" who are out to teach the grown-up a lesson. Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence...and special powers! She unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however - the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull hates children and just loves thing up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the schools pupils' saving grace.
