JWSM Theatre Arts Director Candice Himelrick spent her childhood performing Texas-state and nationwide in vocal competitions and Vaudeville performances. Since making her move to Tennesseein 2006, Candice has been busy teaching children’s theatre and has been actively involved in the Nashville theatre community both onstage and behind the scenes. She is passionate about creating a fun environment at Centre Stage where kids of all ages can experience the joy of live theatre. He has been the rehearsal pianist and musical director for numerous professional shows, including the resident musical director and composer with Northwest Children’s Theatre. Ben now teaches private voice and piano as well as music directing for Centre Stage. Sarah Newman Teacher, "Rising Stars" and "Broadway Bound" Sarah Newman has performed professionally across the country at various theatres and throughout the world on cruise ships. She has also taught as an orchestra director, elementary general music teacher, and a private instructor in violin, fiddle, and voice. Sarah has always loved working with children and teaching music and is excited to be a part of Centre Stage Productions!
